- At first roundabout, take the second exit sign posted for Oldham (still A627).
- Travel along the A627 and continue to follow the signs for Oldham.
- You will pass a B&Q Warehouse to your left hand side.
- At next roundabout, continue straight on (third exit and still A627).
- The next roundabout is called "Mumps Bridge" and you will see a Railway Station on your right hand side.
- Take the fourth exit into Lees Road (A669).
- At traffic lights, continue straight through and you will see a Fire Station on your right hand side.
- Continue along this road and towards Greenfield.
- Along this road you will pass three pubs. The Friendship, The Red Lion, The Grotton and The Farrars Arms.
- When you have passed The Farrars Arms, follow the road for a futher quarter of a mile.
- The road will bear left and you need to turn right at this point.
- Follow the road down through an "S" bend and into Chew Valley Road.
- Travel for some 100 yards and then turn left into Wellington Road.
- Churchill Playing Fields can be found at the end of Wellington Road.
