Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc have teamed up with a sporting forum website originating from Australia. Yes - Australia.

The website is called THE GRANDSTAND and they found us!

Here is the email received by the HFH Club, which started the wheels in motion:

The Grandstand.net is an international online community that allows members to discuss and debate issues related to sports and other interests in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We have robust and consistent interest in rugby league and would like to further develop this with closer relationships with the wider rugby league community. It would be appreciated if our site would be added to the links page on your website and other reciprocal links on our links page.

Although we are Australian based we have a strong group of members in the UK and would love this relationship to continue to grow as they have added greatly to our community.

Well there you go - now the HFH Club is truly on the map!

On this site you will be able to post your comments about any type of sport and potentially get reciprocating views from around the world.

Predominantly, THE GRANDSTAND Webmaster would like to see views, comments and news from our part of the world and to start stimulating the exchanges of opinions.

From a HFH Club perspective, it's a great opportunity to spread the name of the Hornets and let everybody know what we are all about.

Anybody can make a posting provided the Moderators 'does and don'ts' are observed.

Take advantage of this great facility and lets tell all those people in Australia as much as we can about the Widnes town itself, the Borough of Halton, and of course, the Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc.

Who knows, this could lead to greater thinks in the future!
