Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc club have officially been registered with The Inland Revenue as a COMMUNITY AMATEUR SPORTS CLUB (CASC).
This is in accordance with Schedule 18 Finance Act 2002 and is effective from 5th September 2005. This means relief can be claimed under the Gift Aid scheme for gifts received after this date.
But, in accordance with paragraphs 3.20.1 and 3.20.3 of the Guidance Notes, Gift Aid can not be claimed on membership subscriptions.
A very big 'thank you' goes out to Nicky for achieving this status. Financially, it is of significant standing to the HFH club and will obviously help in developing and nurturing the clubs development on to the next phase.
